It looks like a cloud. It is a ball run, combining the appeal of balls running mechanically with tracked, virtual elements on displays. The Hybrid Cloud, created for IBM - combines sculpture and stunning visuals with cloud- themes.
When it came to audience interaction at the CeBIT 2016, there wasn’t a dull moment. Visitors let the balls roll, getting acquainted with the Cloud sectors “Innovation“, “Mobility“ and ”Agility“ and, over five trade fair days, had 1,000 balls on track. Amounting to almost 3,000 screen pages viewed - even when one or the other was hoping to see the balls knocked off- course. Which didn’t happen - sparing us from such headlines as ”IBM drops the ball!”
